What it does

Ceftriaxone is the injectable antibiotic in the demo. Each millilitre grants 11.25 seconds of immunity time, during which immunity is increased by 70. A full syringe therefore provides 1,125 seconds — 18 minutes 45 seconds — of elevated immunity.

The catch is pain. Every millilitre adds 0.8 limb pain with no adrenaline response, so injecting the entire syringe can put total pain at 80%. The community generally prefers Antibiotics or Antiserum, which have better effects and fewer downsides. Consider selling Ceftriaxone to a survivor instead.

Effects and usage

  • 100 mL total; each millilitre adds 11.25 seconds of immunity time.
  • Immunity is increased by 70 while the immunity timer is active.
  • Adds 0.8 limb pain per mL with no adrenaline compensation.
  • Does not stack immunity value with other antibiotics, only duration.

How to get it

Medical crates, life-pods and survivor stock. Not craftable in the demo.

This item is found as loot or bought from survivors; it has no crafting recipe in the current demo build. Its value scales with condition, charge or fluid volume, so sell it only after checking the trade value.

Field notes

  • Inject in small amounts instead of emptying the syringe.
  • Do not combine with heavy pain or low consciousness unless you have no alternative.
  • Antibiotics and Antiserum are usually better value. Sell Ceftriaxone when possible.
  • Immunity slows infection progression; it does not instantly cure an infected limb.
Data note: values reflect Demo 7.0.1 and the public pre-release build. The full game releases on November 9, 2026 and may change item balance. If you spot a discrepancy, use the sources and corrections page to compare references.
