What it does
The L.R.D. is the closest thing Casualties: Unknown has to a miracle drug. A single 25 mL dose restores 50 muscle health, removes 10 infection, disinfects for ten minutes, reduces bleeding by 30%, grants energized and raises adrenaline by 90. It also affects every connected limb.
It is expensive to craft at INT 15, but the demo has a notable bug: using the L.R.D. on the thorax applies the adjacent-limb bleed reduction repeatedly, for roughly 60% bleeding reduction. Even without the bug, it is worth carrying into the Wasteland and Overgrown Depths.
Effects and usage
- Three 25 mL doses per full L.R.D.
- +50 muscle health and −10 infection on the target limb.
- 600 seconds of disinfection and 60 seconds of energized.
- −30% bleeding on the limb and −55% internal bleeding when used on the thorax.

Rare medical loot, life-pods and survivors. Craftable at INT 15.

Field notes
- Use it on the thorax to maximize internal bleeding reduction in the current demo build.
- Disinfection lasts ten minutes, so apply it before a fight rather than after.
- The serum can be crafted separately if the device runs dry.
- Do not waste a dose on a clean limb; target the worst infection or blood loss.
