What this layer is
The Overgrown Depths — “The Jungle” — is the final demo layer and the most biologically hostile. Thick vegetation provides Tree Sap, Groundwater and edible plants, and the layer lacks turrets and landmines. That makes it look like a paradise until the Thornbacks arrive.
Shade Crawlers, Sand Stalkers, Cave Ticks, Overgrown Ticks, Tentacle Plants, Thornbacks and the Elder Thornback all share the layer. The Elder is a boss-level threat with enormous health and loot. Stealth, fire and prepared medical supplies matter more here than raw damage.
